Daniel Auner became a Violin Professor at the Prayner Conservatory Vienna in 2016. His class currently consists of 17 students from Austria, Brazil, Serbia, Japan, South Korea,Ukraine and Spain. Additionally to that, he helps organizing a master class that takes place every July in the south of Vienna; the Musikseminar Wienerwald and teaches regularly in masterclases worldwide.
 In 2018 he founded the CIMA, Central International Music Academy in Vienna, that organises a Masterclass and Competition in the premises of the Vienna Music University.

Since 2020 Daniel Auner is a board member of the international Fritz Kreisler Society Vienna, organising the Fritz Kreisler competition Vienna.

Daniel Auner proudly plays on "D'Elia" - a Giovanni Battista Guadagnini Violin 1752 that belongs to the collection of the Austrian National Bank. The instrument sounds even better with strings by Thomastik Infeld.
