Daniel Auner has been teaching students from all over the world at Vienna Conservatories for many years. At the moment he works as a lecturer for violin, viola and chamber music at the "Academy of Music and Performing Arts Vienna", AMP - part of the Jamlab Private University. The students receive intensive supervision there, receive at least 90 minutes of main subject lessons per week and complete their studies with a master’s degree.

He also regularly teaches in master classes around the world and in 2018 founded the CIMA, Central International Music Academy in Vienna, which organizes an annual master class and competition on the premises of the Vienna University of Music.

Since 2020 Daniel Auner has been a board member of the international Fritz Kreisler Society Vienna, which organizes the Fritz Kreisler Competition 2022 together with Prof. Michael Frischenschlager, former rector of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
