Contemporary violin concerts


Every violinist learns the great violin concertos from Johannes Brahms, Jean Sibelius, Pjotr Ilytsch Tschaikowsky, Ludwig van Beethoven, Wolfgang Amadé Mozart etc. - but far not all musicians also study contemporary works. Daniel Auner has played the following three concerts regularly - and in some cases also worked on them together with the composers:

With the Violin Concerto No. 2 Op. 81 Albayzin and Sacromonte by Kurt Schwertsik, the Vienna Jeunesse Orchestra not only has a German premiere in its luggage, but also a sought-after soloist by its side.
