2. Core Principle: No Data Collection
IntonationPro does not collect personal data. The app processes audio input exclusively on the user's device to calculate real-time pitch visualization. This audio data is never stored, transmitted to any server, or shared with third parties.
No usage statistics, location data, device identifiers, analytics, or any other personal information is collected.
3. Microphone Access
The app requires access to the device microphone to analyze the pitch of notes being played. iOS will explicitly request this permission when the app is first launched.
The microphone is used solely for real-time pitch analysis to display the intonation trail. No audio recordings are created, stored, or transmitted. All processing occurs in the device's working memory and is discarded at the end of each session.
Microphone access can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security → Microphone.
4. In-App Purchase (Premium)
The optional "IntonationPro Premium" in-app purchase is processed exclusively through Apple's StoreKit framework. Payment data is handled by Apple Inc. and is not accessible to the app developer. Apple's privacy policy applies: apple.com/legal/privacy.
5. Local Data Storage
The app stores only the following settings locally on the user's device, with no personal reference:
Last selected key
Last selected tuning system
Last selected concert pitch reference
Premium status (local purchase receipt via StoreKit)
This data never leaves the device and cannot be linked to any individual.
6. No Third-Party Services
The app does not use any analytics tools (e.g. Firebase, Mixpanel), advertising networks, social media integrations, or any other third-party services. No data is transmitted to third parties.
7. Your Rights
As no personal data is collected, the exercise of data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection under GDPR Art. 15–21) is not applicable in practice. Should you wish to make a request regardless, please contact the address above.
8. Right to Lodge a Complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority:
