“1756 Salzburg” app · Last updated: June 2026
This privacy policy informs you about the processing of personal data in connection with the mobile application “1756 Salzburg” (the “app”) and when contacting us through the channels listed below.
1. Controller
Postfach 0001
1028 Vienna, Austria
Email: 1756salzburg@danielauner.com
Phone: +43 677 63513039
2. Principle: the app works offline
The app is designed as a purely offline application. All content – texts, images, maps and audio guides – is stored on your device after installation. The app itself does not collect, store or transmit any personal data to the controller. There is no tracking, no usage profiling, and no registration or sign-in is required.
3. No analytics or tracking services
The app uses no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking technologies (such as Google Analytics, advertising identifiers or comparable services). No cookies or similar technologies are used for analytics purposes.
4. Processing when obtaining the app (Apple App Store)
The app is obtained and installed through the Apple App Store, operated by Apple. When downloading, making purchases (e.g. the “Premium” in-app purchase) and during use, Apple may process data as an independent controller (such as purchase transactions, device and diagnostic data, crash reports). The controller has no influence over this processing. Apple’s privacy terms apply:
https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
.
In-app purchases are handled exclusively through Apple’s billing. The controller does not receive payment data such as credit card numbers.
5. Features linking to third parties
The app may offer links to external services that you actively choose to use. When you use such a feature, you leave the app, and the privacy terms of the respective provider apply:
Navigation/maps: opening a route launches the map app you have selected (e.g. Apple Maps or Google Maps).
Ticket and programme links: links to organisers or ticket providers open their official websites in your browser.
For these external offerings, the respective provider is responsible under data protection law.
6. Visiting this website
When you access this website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary access data in so-called server log files (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, page requested, volume of data transferred, browser and operating system used). This processing serves the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in trouble-free operation).
7. Contacting us
If you contact us by email or phone, the information you provide (e.g. name, email address, phone number and the content of your enquiry) is processed in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual or contractual measures) or (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.
8. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). To exercise your rights, a message to the contact details above is sufficient.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible in Austria is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna (

.
9. Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may be amended if the app, legal requirements or the described processing change. The version published here applies at any given time.
