My new Guadagnini Violin

I have the privilege to perform my concerts in the coming seasons on one of the most beautiful instruments of the Austrian National Bank, a Giovanni Battista Guadagnini from Milano 1753, "d'Elia". It is a exceptionally beautiful instrument from him, worth around 1.3 Mio Euro. I am very happy that Hans Peter Haselsteiner, CEO of the STRABAG Group is helping me with the insurance costs of this instrument, as you can imagine they are very high.

I was fortunate to already before play on a very beautiful instrument, a "Johann Christoph Leidolff" Violin from Vienna 1749. But I have to say, the difference between these instruments is still quite big, it is a very special experience to perform on her.

Daniel Auner proudly plays on "D'Elia" - a Giovanni Battista Guadagnini Violin 1752 that belongs to the collection of the Austrian National Bank. The instrument sounds even better with DOMINANT PRO strings by Thomastik Infeld.
