Daniel Auner proudly plays on "D'Elia" - a Giovanni Battista Guadagnini Violin 1752 that belongs to the collection of the Austrian National Bank. The instrument sounds even better with strings by Thomastik Infeld.

Appointed Chief Conductor of the MSO

I am happy to share with you one of my upcoming challenges; I will be new artistic director and chief conductor of the Mödlinger Symphonisches Orchester starting in 2020. We have a great season planned; including solistic performances of Simon Reitmaier Klarinettist, Joseph Avila and Alexandra Tirsu violinist and will start every concert with an ouverture by Ludwig van Beethoven - who lived in Mödling 1814-1819. We also plan a concert tour to Greece with concerts in Kalamata and Athens. I am grateful for all the support I am receiving from the management and the trust they have put into me - to many new musical adventures!

(P.S.: Still teaching, still Auner Quartett, still Solo concerts - no rumors please - I "can" still play violin

:-) )
